56 Chevy

I love old cars and can't stay away from vintage car shows. Primed, under painted the panel and drawing complete. Stay tuned!

The turquoise blue color on this 56 Chevy is fabulous and I can't wait to get started on this painting.

Pink Cottage

I stumbled upon this adorable pink cottage during a summer visit to Planting Fields Arboretum in Oyster Bay, NY. This playhouse was built for the daughters of the former estate owner William Robertson Coe. I am taking a more painterly approach to this subject and decided to use a very smooth surfaced panel board.

Added to Huntington Boat Basin

Spent some time painting yesterday. I added to this boat basin painting and it's almost finished. I still need to work on completing the motor on the boat and add some touches of light on the beach grass and sand. My favorite part was painting the water in front of the boat.

Reminder to self to make time for painting.

I spent a nice afternoon painting for a few hours. Time is limited now that school is back in session, but I want to try and make at least 2 small panel paintings a month. In the painting below, I like how the building in the background came out and the play of light in the grass.
