After the Rain

A few of my fellow painters and I went out to Eastern Long Island to paint some marshland. During the entire drive to our destination, the rain came down in torrential downpours. However, when the skies cleared, this is the scene that caught my attention. A study was created and the rest of the painting was finished in the studio. Painting is painted on a cradled one inch thick panelbord and is wired on back and ready for hanging.
